CHIEF CHARLES C. UMOLU, (Chairman Board of Directors)

Chief Charles Umolu, is the Chairman Board of Directors of Obosi Microfinance Bank. He is the Managing Consultant and Chief Executive of Corimol Consulting Limited, a firm engaged in banking and financial consulting. He has over 20 years’ cognate experience in banking. He trained as a banker with Morgan Guaranty Trust Company of New York, United States of America. He obtained a B. Sc degree in Economics from the University of Ife, Ile-Ife and a Master’s in Business Administration from the same institution. Umolu has served on the board of various organizations as Executive and Non-Executive Director, including a five-year stint with Keystone Bank Limited as a Non-Executive Director. He was the Managing Director/CEO of Comet Merchant Bank Limited (1995-1997) a position he held until he retired in 1997 to set up Corimol Consulting Limited. He is also a Director of Fidelity Bank.


Hyacinth holds an Electrical and Electronics Engineering degree B.Eng (1989/90) from Anambra State University of Science and Technology; He started his career as Deputy Head of Computer Sytems department, Mobile Producing Unlimited, Lagos from 1992 to 1993. He joined Prime Solar Power Limited, Lagos as Managing Director and CEO from 1994-2003. He joined as a Director in Obosi Microfinance Bank in September 2012. He is currently the Director and CEO of Prostar Energy Group Limited, a renewable energy Company. He is also a new Energy and Solar Energy Consultant on various committees such as Energy Commission of Nigeria National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure Abuja.

OBI RICHARD (Director)

Richard obtained the City & Guilds (C & G) of London Institute Certificate in 1974. He began his working career with S.A Aburimi Construction Company from 1974 to 1976. He later joined Monier Construction Company Nig. Limited (MCC Nig Ltd) 1977 to 1978. He joined as a Director in Obosi Microfinance Bank in September 2012 and is also the current the Chief Executive Officer of Chrinco Richard & Pertners (Nig)

OBIONWU IK (Director)

Mr. Obionwu is a 1998 graduate of Banking and Finance from the Enugu State University of Science & Technology. He joined the Nigeria Immigration Service in 1986 and risen to the position of Superintendent before his retirement. He joined as a Director in Obosi Microfinance Bank in September 2012.


Madam Fanny began her career in 1987 in Awka after obtaining her B.SC degree from the Prestigious Nnamdi Azikwe University Awka in 1974. She was the Supervisory Principal Anambra State Primary School Service Commission from 1987 to 2003. In 2003, she was appointed Zonal Director, Anambra State School Post Primary Service Commission, Ogidi. A position she held until 2005. She joined as a Director in Obosi Microfinance Bank in September 2012 and she is currently the Proprietress oof Anyaoku Foundation at Owelle Aja, Obosi.


Chief Maurice is the Chief Executive Officer of Macfinh Nigeria Limited a limited Company based in Lagos. He is also the Board of Shepherd Country Home Hotels Obosi. Chief Maurice is an astute business man with interest in various fields of Endeavour

EMEKA G. ANUJEONYE (Managing Director/CEO)

Mr. Anujeonye is a graduate of Finance and a chartered accountant with many years of diverse industry experience. He started his working career in the Business Development and Export Departments of John Holt PLC and later moved to the banking and financial sector. He brings to Obosi Micro Finance Bank a rich background in major areas of banking acquired from Devcom Merchant Bank Ltd, Citizens Investment and Securities Ltd and Spring Capital Markets Ltd. While in the Financial sub-sector, he worked as the branch operations manager, deputy financial controller of the bank and directly supervised credits, treasury and capital market operations in the bank subsidiary. He has over twenty five years banking experience before joining Obosi Micro Finance Bank as the MD/CEO.
